     EXPENSES: food and your part of the phone bill;
               for a *long* stay rent, share food bill, and utilities
               (but A LOT cheaper than any other type accommodations

               to another bike for 1 guest. Also, there is possible
               access to a HOT TUB at my friend's house just 3 blocks
               away (this is a favorite Californian pastime). 8)
               I am a good cook, but if I cook,
               I expect my guest(s) to wash up! Okay? ;-))))
     THE HOST: I am employed at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory above
               the University of California at Berkeley. I have traveled
               extensively in Africa and Europe. I am single, active,
               funny, silly, good listener, good talker, SERIOUS
               adventure maker, very much into SAILING, SKIING
               (California, Colorado, and Austria). Into art, dance,
               mountain biking, massage, hiking. Open, honest, up front,
